ABOUT

Carrie Haynes, LPC

Relational therapy and healing in community.

Hi, I'm Carrie.

I’m a licensed psychotherapist and group facilitator with more than twenty years of experience creating spaces where people can slow down, reconnect to themselves, and experience the healing power of shared presence.

My work lives at the meeting place of grounded psychology and soulful depth.
I’m especially passionate about supporting therapists and helping professionals who:

need places to be nourished themselves

want to deepen their group facilitation skills

long for more meaningful, embodied ways of working

My Story

Community Roots

I grew up in a close-knit family in a small town where connection was woven into daily life. When my family moved across the country, I learned firsthand how essential belonging and relationship are to our well-being.

That experience shaped the direction of my life — leading me into counseling and eventually into group work, where I discovered how powerful it is to heal in the presence of others rather than in isolation.

The Art of Group Work

In graduate school, I fell in love with process-oriented groups and saw that real change happens through lived relational experience.

Later, in private practice, I noticed many therapists wanted to offer groups but felt unsure how to create containers that were both psychologically grounded and deeply alive.

My search for a deeper way eventually led me to Circlework and experiential group practices — approaches that invite people out of constant thinking and into presence, connection, and shared humanity.

The result is a way of working that feels deeply psychological and quietly sacred.

Coming Full Circle

Today, I support professionals in two main ways:

Spaces to be nourished
Circles and retreats to rest, reconnect, and remember yourself beyond your role

Experiential learning
Opportunities to grow as a facilitator by experiencing circle from the inside out

My intention is simple: to help you develop a steadier center, a more embodied presence, and a richer way of being with the people you serve.

If you’re drawn to work that is relational, experiential, soulful, and deeply human — you’re in the right place.

“Carrie curated an environment of safety and trust allowing us to be fully engaged and present with one another. After this experience I am excited to dream about how to offer a Circle to the communities I work with.”
